Kathy J. Thomas, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2009. She was born October 30, 1948 to the late Cecil and Myrtle (Pollette) Thomas in Indianapolis, IN. She worked as a Machine Operator for Cross Road Farm Dairy/Kroger Dairy for 31 years before retiring in 2003. Kathy loved to volunteer her time at The Sharing Place for the last five years.She is survived by a brother, John Thomas; nephew, Mark Thomas; and several cousins.Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Graveside service will be Monday, August 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathy’s name to The Sharing Place, 7049 E 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46219.

I’m are so sorry to hear about Kathy. We haven’t seen each other in years, but I remember picking on Kathy w/Johhny with all of the other boys in the neiborhood. She would get so mad, she could have licked us all, but the more she protested the more we teased her.
Time sure does fly by, it doesn’t seem all that laong ago when we were just kids.

I have so many fond and fun memories of our times shared. You always made everyone laugh, you were just that way!! You have one of the biggest hearts, of anyone I know. You were always wanting to make others happy, by your giving heart and the love you shared. Any b-day or holiday, there would be a card from you, you never forgot. I will never forget the Christmas, I did not have a job and there you were bringing gifts and food for my children and me. You loved to do things like that just to see a person’s face light up. You were truly a giver of the heart. I know you touched so many lifes and made a difference in their life. Kathy, you are one of the strongest women, I know, you never ask anyone of a dime. But yet you gave of your heart. I will muss you and love you forever.
